Hair Extensions – Keratin Method
The keratin hair extension and thickening method is safe and very effective. It is based on keratin and involves attaching the hair strands with a special device, called a welder or hot fusion wand. The hair strands used for extensions have a special keratin shell at the end, which bonds them to natural strands and has thermoplastic properties. A so-called keratin bond is formed at the attachment point. With the right technique it is practically invisible because it is made of colorless keratin and is hidden between the hair growing on your head. Moreover, it is very durable and small. In our HAIRMATE salons professional stylists carefully select the color of hair extensions, which additionally enhances the natural effect and aesthetics of the keratin treatment. Modern hair extension equipment ensures comfort while attaching the hair strands and guarantees a spectacular effect of healthy, thickened and long hair.
The clients who use the keratin hair extension method are usually advised to undergo the procedure again after 2-4 months. Then the strands are removed using a special liquid, which does not affect the quality and condition of natural hair. Then new strands are attached, providing a great effect and sensational hairstyle. When using high quality hair extensions, the same hair can be reused several times. We rearrange the ends and reattach the hair close to the scalp for another 2-4 months.
